Our annual fundraising gala brings together community members, supporters, and partners to celebrate our shared heritage and raise funds that sustain DHAA’s programs. The gala plays a vital role in ensuring that our senior center, educational programs, and food assistance initiatives continue to serve the community year after year.
Opening Doors Through Education
Each year, DHAA organizes college exposure trips for local high school students. With an average group of approximately 20 students, these visits provide firsthand insight into college life and future academic opportunities. In addition to campus visits, DHAA offers scholarship support to help students pursue higher education. By investing in education, we invest in the future of our community.
Supporting Families with Dignity and Care
Through our food distribution efforts, DHAA provides assistance to community members in need. Our goal is simple: ensure that families have access to essential food resources while maintaining respect, dignity, and community connection. Food support is more than a service — it is a commitment to standing with our neighbors during times of hardship.
